Amlogic A311D2 is a SoC designed for intelligent display applications, supporting 8K decoding and rich interfaces in audio and video input and output.AD311D2 CPU adopts an octa-core size core design, which integrates a quad-core ARM Cortex-A73 and a quad-core Cortex-A53, and adopts an ARM Mali-G52 MP8 (8EE) GPU for the graphics peripheral. 8EE) GPU with support for OpenGL ES 3.2, Vulkan 1.1, and 0penCL 2.0 graphics programs, and a 2.5D graphics processor to handle additional scaling, alpha, rotation, and color-space conversion operations. the CPU and GPU work together to handle all operating system, network, user interface, and game-related tasks.

 

Amlogic Video Engine (AVE-10) is a subsystem that uses dedicated hardware video decoders and encoders that are not CPU intensive. The major video formats that AVE-10 can decode include MPEG-1/2/4, VC-1/WMV, AVS+, AVS2, MJPEG, H.264, H265-10, VP9-10, AV1 and JPEG, Independent encoder supports JPEG format 1080P@60fps Encoding and H.265/H.264 4K@5fps Encoding.

 

The video/graphics output supports Dolby Vision (optional), HDR10+, HDR10, HLG and Techni, color prime HDR processing, BT.2020/BT.2100 processing, motion compensation and motion adaptive de-interlacer, flexible programmable superscalar, local dimming, and multi-frame image enhancement filtering the enhanced image before passing it to the video output port. It supports 3 independent display controllers that can be flexibly configured for V-by-One, LVDS, eDP, MIPDS and HDMI outputs. It supports 3 HDMI 2.1 receive required ports, and the HDMI ports can receive up to 4K2K HDR video with support for Dynamic HDR, ALLM, OFT, OMS, VRR and HDCP 1.4/2.3.

 

The A311D2 is optimized for low-power far-field voice applications. It integrates two dedicated HF5 DSPs for top audio front-end and wake-up word algorithms. It also features a built-in Voice Activity Detection (VAD) module for ultra-low-power operation during system standby and fully digital microphone interfaces including PDM, TDM and 12S for up to eight channels.

 

The SoC integrates a rich set of advanced networking and peripheral interfaces, including a 10/100/1000M Ethernet MAC with RGMI, 10/100M Ethernet PHY, USB 3.0 DRD, PCle 2.0 and USB 2.0 high-speed ports, SD10 3.0 controller, eMMC 5.1 controller and multiple SD10/SD card controllers, UART, 12C, high speed SPI PWMs and IR transceivers. Standard development environment supporting Secureos, Linux and GNU/GCC Android toolchain.
